Storyline:   Eddie "Hudson Hawk" Hawkins, a skilled cat burglar who has just been released from prison. All Eddie wants is to live a normal life, but he's dragged back into the world of crime when a powerful and eccentric couple, the Mayflowers, coerce him into stealing priceless artifacts. Unbeknownst to Eddie, these artifacts are actually components of a legendary device created by Leonardo da Vinci, capable of turning lead into gold. The Mayflowers plan to use the device to manipulate the world economy and amass even more wealth and power.

As Eddie reluctantly carries out the heists, he finds himself entangled in a web of deception, double-crosses, and absurd situations. Along the way, he reunites with his old partner in crime, Tommy "Five-Tone" Messina, and sparks fly with a charming nun named Anna Baragli, who may not be as innocent as she seems. With the clock ticking and the Mayflowers closing in, Eddie must rely on his wit, agility, and unconventional skills to outsmart his enemies and prevent the device from falling into the wrong hands. Along the way, he learns valuable lessons about friendship, trust, and the true meaning of freedom.
