Storyline: Chris and Bill, known for their exceptional surveillance skills, are tasked with keeping watch on a lakeside home where a Mafia trial witness is suspected to be either en route or in hiding. Unlike in their previous assignment as stakeout partners, this time they are joined by Gina Garret from the DA's office and her pet Rottweiler, Archie, posing as a married couple with son Bill.

Another Stakeout Trivia
- As Luella walks past the TV in the safe house, the film playing is "Stakeout" (1987).
- Due to scheduling conflicts with "Bad Girls," Madeleine Stowe only makes a brief appearance in the film.
- While standing in front of a line of drying panties, Richard Dreyfuss as Chris repeats the line "And I don't like the panties hanging on the rod," which he previously said in his Oscar-winning role as Elliott in "The Goodbye Girl" (1977).
- Madeleine Stowe's character Maria McGuire, who was a major figure in the original "Stakeout" (1987), appears only briefly in this sequel, appearing uncredited.
- In 1993, Emilio Estevez starred in three movies, including "The Shadow" which was released between "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1" (February) and "Judgment Night" (October).
- In interviews, Sharon Maughan has revealed that a significant portion of her role was cut during editing.
