Storyline: The House of 1,000 Dolls film, set against the fascinating and at the same time mysterious background of the 1960s Tangier, shows a world where the nightlife that dazzles the eyes is accompanied by a slight danger. The audience comes in droves to see a famous magician and his charming wife, an illusionist. The combination of mysteriousness and sensuality attracts the audience in both cases. However, the magic and glamour are not the only things that keep people talking; the rumored disappearances of young women throughout Europe are what's making the chatter go around, and the police and family members are the ones who are left puzzled. A friend of a victim starts suspecting that the city�s entertainment scene is hiding much darker secrets than anyone thinks; thus, he immerses himself into a charming yet tricky world full of charms, deceits, and illusions.
As he begins to go against the grain, he finds out that the border between the show and the crime is much closer than it looks. Powerful individuals appear to be very serious about not letting the truth come to light, and every single hint leads the investigator deeper into a web of deceit and peril.
