Storyline:   A journalist investigates the mysterious man behind a string of purchases of houses where tragedies have occurred. Julia Talben, a real estate reporter, is shocked when her family is brutally murdered. When she returns to the crime scene, she finds that the room where the murder took place has been removed from her sister's home, leading her and Detective Declan Grady on a quest for answers. They eventually discover Jebediah Crone and the Abattoir, a house made up of endless rooms of death and despair, where Julia realizes that her sister's soul is trapped. But the Abattoir is not just a house - it's a gateway to something far more evil than anyone could have imagined. Julia and Grady must confront the dangers within the Abattoir and find a way to free Julia's sister's soul before it's too late.
