Storyline:   A young man named Pierre Servettaz, the son of a renowned mountain guide. Pierre is expected to follow in his father's footsteps and become a guide himself. However, after a tragic accident claims the life of a climber under his father's care, Pierre becomes disillusioned with the perilous profession. Despite his reservations, Pierre's love for the mountains and a strong sense of duty draw him back to the life of a guide. He decides to honor his family's legacy and proves himself capable of taking on the challenging role. Throughout the film, Pierre's journey is marked by personal growth, the forging of strong friendships, and the development of his skills as a mountaineer.
