Storyline:   "The Manhattan Project" is a 1986 Si-Fi film that tells the story of Paul Stephens, a brilliant high school student who becomes fascinated with science and technology. Paul is particularly interested in nuclear physics, and he begins to build his own atomic bomb in a secret laboratory hidden in an abandoned warehouse. As Paul continues to work on his project, he attracts the attention of Dr. John Mathewson, a physicist who once worked on the real Manhattan Project during World War II. Dr. Mathewson becomes concerned about Paul's dangerous experiment and tries to intervene, but Paul is determined to see his project through to the end. Filled with suspense and drama, "The Manhattan Project" offers a thought-provoking exploration of the moral and ethical dilemmas surrounding the development of nuclear weapons.
